Senior Consultant

Dr. Chanta Booker possesses over 20 years of experience as an educator, having served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal in an urban school setting. She earned her Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, an M.E.D. in School Improvement Leadership from Goucher College, and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

During her tenure as principal, she was fortunate to serve all grade bands Pre-K-12, gaining a thorough understanding of all facets of a student's education and how to develop teachers at all levels. Dr. Booker has trained and mentored several aspiring leaders during their journey to becoming administrators. Despite her achievements and successes with her students and staff, she had to persevere through major inequities imposed upon her school community. She is very resourceful and built a network of community partners to help carry out her vision.

Dr. Booker currently coaches school leaders and provides equity consultations for educators, schools, school districts, and non-profit agencies.
